I'm at work, it's an Intel
Main system at home, is AMD A64 3500+
HTPC 2.6C Intel
Wife's 1.7 Intel
 
I voted other. I have more intel cpu's than AMD, but the intel chips were all inherited. I also plan on upgrading to an Opty 175 in a few months.

Yea, but its got to be more accurate than asking people what CPU they use in an Intel forum.
 
you know what? Go to general forum and ask there. You will get a better, less biased result. ALmost everyone who cruises Intel forums are either AMD flamers or Intel users, mostly intel users. Go to general.. but btw, i run intel. My setup is in my sig, i've also got a P1, a Pentium M 1.5ghz Thinkpad, and a 1.8ghz P4 Willamette

1.8Ghz amd winchester (s939 3000+). My second AMD, not quite sure if I like it or not, but it does its job. I havent been able to sit down on a comparable pentium rig, but I would expect to see that dollar for dollar, things arnt all that different.

But that doesn't work out too well because you aren't keep track of who voted and who didn't. People can vote once in that thread and then again in this thread, one poll will be skewed somehow depending on how many people visit that sub-forum.

Ah shucks! I thought you wanted to know what brand my school uses so I quickly chose Intel. Heh, AMD += 1, Intel -= 1.
 
currently all of my main boxes run intel chips...usually I'm a mix, but I guess it just so happens that I have no AMD chips in my primary use boxes right now. Kinda unusual. Anyway:

Desktop: P4 560J
Laptop: Mobile P3 1.13ghz
Second Desktop: Dual P3, 800mhz
Server: Pentium 1 233mhz :D
 
It'd probably have been better to do this in one thread because people who voted in one can vote in the other, thus results would be inaccurate.
 
My desktop is an X2, my tablet is a Dothan, so take your pick. I voted non-intel.
