Classic! Reminds me of the current cards with RTX but it was the battle of DirectX 9 back then. Both had DX9 support but AMD did it way better, loved my 9800XT. The 5950 Ultra had the raw speed though if I recall correctly and outpace the 9800XT in non-DX9 games.

Yeah, The good ol' fx series. This one was the "fixed" one. Think 480-580 of it's day. What the 5800 should've been. But everyone just waited on the 6800 to come out or bought like legcramp said a 9800 series. Ah, Good times I was hyped for that 5800 though.

Can confirm it is an awesome retro pc card. I run one in my Athlon XP 3200+ build. Back in the day I had the same one in my Clawhammer rig. This one has the dustbuster cooler, so 60dB at a minimum, whining in your ears.

This one is more toned down from the 5800 Ultra's that had the dustbuster cooler on them.
