It's only been 2 days that his output has been down. Perhaps he's got a large P4 farm, and all of 'em got stuck with those nasty 70 point tinkers that take three billion years for P4's :/
I have a bad feeling plext isn't the only one that lost production. It's just more noticeable with plext because he has so many machines. Stanford had a full disk over the weekend that was supposed to be keeping track of Tinker WUs.Originally posted by rshands
Plext's output has fallen way off.

It really is sad. These people are supposed to be scientists and researchers. I find it hard to believe they cant equate the WUs available with the total production they get daily against storage space. Its a math thing, and math is what they do in this project.
This cavalier approach combined with what seems to be an entitlement mentality is really starting to bug me.
The Stanford group needs to realize their source of production is not a bottomless well.

From YoungminA perfect news for you guys...
I digged out all missing credits from the server log, and credited them all. (it's still going)
Actually, 3999 units were missing. I couldn't dig out cpuid though, but it doesn't matter for crediting.
Thanks!

Take it from me, there are several people communicating with AMD engineers on the issue. The problem is being addressed and everyone I'm sure will know all when there is something in concrete, otherwise it is just speculation. I like detailed and succinct answers to problems. I can wait until then. Be assued that AMD know "they" have a problem.Originally posted by BrianTaylor
That link has been around here a bit, and even hit the [H]ardOCP front page at one time, but all it says is that they are looking into it. Doesn't say anything about determination of the actual cause of the problem.
