Hello!

It´s time for a new computer. My old computer with an E4400 can´t keep up with my demands no longer.
For the first time i going to build my own computer, so im pretty excited about it.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Watching TV, movies. Browsing the web, some casual gaming, listen to music. MS Office.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Around 700€ = 950$ (if my math is correct)
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

Europe
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
I need: Case, motherboard, memory, CPU, GPU, PSU, HD, DVD-ROM and OS. And an quiet CPU cooler
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Not refusing anything
6) Will you be overclocking?
Nope
7) 7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
23" 1920*1080
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Soon. Waiting for AMD Bulldozer
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
USB 3.0
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No, going to buy W7 64bit OEM

I was thinking to try out AMD this time. Since AMD seems to be very good performence for the money. But Bulldozer is around the corner so it seems pretty good to wait for it? I also wish a silent computer.

Anyhow, here is some parts i have choose from:
-Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
-1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ
-AMD Phenom II X4 965 3,4GHz Black Edition
-Corsair 8GB (2x4096MB) CL9 1600Mhz XMS3 1,5V
-Gigabyte Radeon HD6850 1024MB OC (OR a Nvidia 460)
-Cooler Master Silencio 550 (OR Fractal Design R3)
-Fractal Design Integra 500W
-Some random DVD player
-W7 64bit OEM

What do you guys think? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know much about the power supply. What's the specific model number?

Where are you buying those parts from?

Which games are you going to play?

Why are you going with Bulldozer instead of Intel's Sandy/Ivy Bridge?

You can read about the PSU here

I want to play Civ V without lag. Going to try out Battlefield 3 and i know that game demands a super computer and i cant properly play it on highest settings. Mass Effect 3, Guild Wars 2 and Witcher 2 seems pretty fun.

I really dont care if its and AMD or Intel processor. For me its a question about money. Intel have better performance but will cost more.

-AMD Phenom II X4 965 3,4GHz Black Edition
So here in the U.S, that setup would be around $280 USD. Unfortunately, that is overpriced considering that the Core i5 2400 + Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 motherboard is only ~$30 more. The sheer performance increase from the Phenom II 965 and Core i5 2400 is well worth that extra $30.

Not necessarily: The current rumored pricing for the Bulldozer CPUs puts many of them in the same price range as Intel's current Core i5 and i7 CPUs. Rumored performance for the Bulldozer CPUs are showing that their performance is lower than their similarily priced Intel counterparts. In addition, the $125 USD Core i3 2100 outperforms the $130 USD Phenom II 965 in games. Finally, as shown above, the AMD setup you planned was grossly overpriced for the performance it offers considering that a Core i5 2400 setup was only $30 more.

With that said, everything I just said about Bulldozer are based on rumors. Even the release date for Bulldozer, October 12, is a rumor. So up to you if you want to wait till October 12 and see for yourself how AMD's Bulldozer does.
-Gigabyte Radeon HD6850 1024MB OC (OR a Nvidia 460)
Considering that you're playing at a resolution of 1920x1080 and planning on BF3, neither card are really right for you. You should be looking at the GTX 560 since DICE games have traditionally performed a tad better with Nvidia cards.
-Cooler Master Silencio 550 (OR Fractal Design R3)
Go for the Fractal Design. It's of higher quality, better cooling, and lower noise levels.
-Fractal Design Integra 500W
That's FSP 60APN based PSU from what I can find on the web. As such, that power supply isn't of good quality from what I know. As such I cannot recommend that PSU. I recommend Antec's High Current Gamer 620W or Antec's Neo Eco 620C power supplies.

Thanks for the feedback. I have "rebuild" my setup to this:
-Asus P8P67 B3
-1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ
-Corsair 8GB (2x4096MB) CL9 1333Mhz XMS3
-Intel Core i5 2500 3,3GHz
-Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1024MB OC
-Antec High Current Gamer 520W
-Fractal Design Define R3, Silver
-DVD player
-W7 64bit OEM

This will cost about 100£ more = 136 usd (+ i get Arkham City PC game)
Is it worth it?

Not really: Ditch the Core i5 2500 as it's not worth it over the Core i5 2400. If you're planning on doing heavy duty overclocking, then go with the Core i5 2500K. Otherwise, the Core i5 2400 is fine.

Mobo wise, I'd recommend these mobos instead:
$122 - Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 Intel Z68 ATX Motherboard
$130 - MSI P67A-G43 Intel P67 ATX Motherboard
