If you're serious about filling up all RAM slots with 16GB sticks, then the latter. If you're not, then the former.
 
Just because RAM is not on a vendor's QVL does not mean it won't work ;)
8gb MFR would be OK i guess..or 16GB..whatever is enough and cheap :D

Y U opt for 2.4 Ghz vs 3.5 Ghz x2? :confused:
