Hi,
I am putting together a Desktop for watching stock market charts.
I will be connecting 12 Monitors ( Dell U2412M x 24 inch, 1920x1200 ) to this desktop.

Mostly I will be using 2 stock applications & couple of Word Docs & some webpages simultaneously.

OS will be Windows -7 ( Ultimate )

I will be using three ATI FirePro 2460 Graphics cards. ( I did a lot of research & chose these Low Profile cards ) AMD has specifically designed these cards for stock market applications & are used by many professionals.

I am not sure but Intel i7 2600 3.4 GHz processor should be enough ?

I am thinking about 8 GB GB DDR3 RAM

I need one DVD-RW

I guess Onboard Sound would be good enough.

Although I don’t have a budget restriction & want to build the best system, I am limited to the parts available where I am located. So you guys need to pick the parts from the following 2 websites. I am importing graphics cards since they are not available here.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
6) Will you be overclocking?
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.

Also, why Windows 7 Ultimate? Are you actually planning on using the features found in Windows 7 Ultimate?

Let me see if I can answer all your questions, but not being a geek I don't know how much info I can give you but believe me I will do everything you guys ask me for.

Here it goes :

I need info on :

(1) Motherboard
(2) Processor
(30 RAM
(4) PSU
(5) Case
(6) Cooling Unit

In short here is what I know for sure I need & Rest you guys need to help me choose.

(1) I have to use 3, ATI FirePro 2460 Video Crads each supporting 4 monitors via it's 4 mini DP ports & the appropriate cables comes with video cards.
(2) I need to connect 12 ( U2412M, 24 inch, 1920x1200 ) Monitors to this Desktop.

Everything else, you guys have to suggest me to build a powerful system to support that configuration & within the limits of what is available to me in those 2, websites I mentioned.

Please let me know if you need more info.

Are you using another vendor? I ask because the ATI FirePro 2460 isn't available from the two sites you linked us.
 
Oh, I have windows 7 Ultimate & it really doesn't matter because I don't use Aero feature if that helps.

Can you please explain how 3 video cards with x16 be supported ?

I can't figure out that black PCIe x 16 slot. I s it realy a PCIe x16 slot ? & it says 2 PCIe at 8X. I am confused. Aren't all 3 PCIe x16 at the same speed ? And if not, are they ok at lower speeds ?

And would 560 Watt PSU be enough ? Is there any harm for going to may be 750 Watt PSU just in case if I need to add something in future ?

Just some newbie questions for learning & ultimately you guys are the experts, no doubt about it.

Well that motherboard has three PCI-E x16 slots. So just plug in the video cards.

Actually not all PCI-E x16 slots perform at the same speed. For your usage, the lower speeds will not matter at all. So you'll be fine with all three video cards in that motherboard.

That 520W PSU will be enough. No harm in gaoing for a 750W PSU besides just spending more money. If you really want a 750W PSU, then I recommend this:

That CPU is i7 - 2600K & not just 2600, right ?

Also is motherboard P8P67 Pro ( B3 Revision) any better ? Just learning.

You can add one more 4GB stick if you like.

Just plug those cards in those three slots. You don't need to bridge them or anything like that.

Sorry for the confusion: I did link the right CPU but I typed down the wrong CPU. I did in fact mean the Core i6 2600. You don't need the K version at all.

No. It has a history of reliability and stability issues.
