When I open the system window from the control panel, it tells me I have my Athlon 64 3500 but under that it says 2.2 ghz: what does that mean?
I also used 3dmark06, and it says the 2.2 ghz is my "Internal Clock"
This does not mean my computer is running slower than it should, right? Is it normal?
Thankyou,
Purplecow

The Athlon 64 3500+ runs at 2.2GHz. This is its normal operating speed.

3500+ is a "performance rating" and does not correspond directly to a clock speed.

you have the right speed. the 3500+ is model code that Amd uses. it does not mean clock speed.

Theoretically, it runs comparable to a 3.5Ghz P4. Theoretically, of course.
