I always wondered what it would be like trying to play a game with a multi-touch screen or device (like Surface), I guess this video answers that question:

If the iPhone counts, then yes.Yes, because you've gamed on multitouch screens before and know what it's like, right?
If the iPhone counts, then yes.
Thats why I think this technology will never be commonplace for PCs. Maybe for other applications, but not PCs.too many fingerprints! eww!
You would literally have to clean your screen after every game--or anything for that matter. PASS!!!
To anyone that thinks this is the future is an idiot....

My question is: how did hey manage to get Warcraft 3 in widescreen resolution?
You sure seem confident. You should go invest 80% of your portfolio in manufacturer(s) of multi-touch technologies while the stocks are low.Anyone that thinks this isn't the future is two steps past being an idiot... but then again, people are really fucking stupid anyway...![]()

My comment about the future thing was a sarcastic reply to the poster back in post #11 - it wasn't meant as the end-all-be-all comment of absolute fact that some people are taking it as. Obviously we (meaning us Humans) will eventually move towards touchscreen everything, with voice control backing that up, and even perhaps someday having ubiquitous eye-focus monitoring so the damned machines can even tell what the hell we're looking at. We already have head-mounted devices like TrackIR for controlling game perspective and views by head movements, so eye-tracking can't be all that far behind.
Imagine controlling a game and the kind of absolute pinpoint precision you'd have if you were aiming your targeting crosshair by where your eyes were looking on the screen in front of you. Literally as w1retap said, but even better... "Blink, dead, blink, dead, blink, dead..."![]()
