Planning to Build

I'm planning to build a new comp...last time I built one, my 5800gt was a new vid card. I'll need a mobo, processor, vid card, psu, ram and case..

I don't overclock, but I plan on gaming...with a 1k-1300 budget, can I come up with something that would last a few years?

For $1000k should get a good rig. Here are my suggestions...

I didn't include a case because I feel that a case is a personal choice kind of thing. So find a case you like and buy it. You still have some money left over.

850W is definitely overkill unless you want to SLI, which is what I want to do in the future, so you can save a lot of money there. And when I bought the ram, it was more expensive than it is now, so you can probably get a comparable system for just about $1300. Good luck
