well I never really tried OC'ing that CPU before... never was much of an overclocker (but now I need MOAR PPD!!!)... that cpu was in my workstation on basically 24/7 for over 3 years at stock speeds, was a great cpu
 
With the bonus system, where you get better-than-linear increases in PPD with increased clock speed, overclocking is very relevant to our interests.
