PhysX Project

Thought it was about time I tried PhysX out. I've seen a few videos (mostly Borderlands 2) and I'm interested. I'm not concerned with having the latest and greatest hardware, and I'm still Team Red, for little other reason than that's what I already have laying around.
I already have quite a few of the parts, but would like some input on the finer details

Requisite info:
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming mostly. I have another PC and laptop for other things, this'll be a mostly 1-trick-pony
2) What's your budget? eh, probably about $600 shipping included
3) Which country do you live in? OKC, OK, USA
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? Main GPU, PhysX GPU, SSD, RAM
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing?
-MSI 890GXM-G65 motherboard
-AMD Phenom 2 x3 720 CPU
-Samsung MV-3V4G3D/US R (16GB total)
-Dynex 550W PSU (likely upgrade later, but this thing has been a tank so far)
-Antec 300 Case
6) Will you be overclocking? after PSU upgrade, I probably will a bit. The Mobo does support a 'quick OC' for the CPU. Maybe the memory, maybe the GPU's.
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it? 1920x1080, 24". Future upgrade to 27" 1440p/i
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC? over the next several months. Probably not seriously until Jan. 2013
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? Mobo is taken care of
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit? Win7-64bit

So far I'm considering a 64GB Samsung SSD coupled with a 500GB WD Scorpio Black. I may or may not invest in a Blu-Ray Drive, so I've not included it above. Won't really make a difference to the build.
As far as the Samsung RAM is concerned, it's a good price for what seems to be excellent RAM to work with.
I'm looking at the following for my GPUs, and what this post really boils down to is budget and whether these two together will yeild an enjoyable experience. Keep in mind that I'm coming from a system running a 6690D2 @ otherwise stock settings!

Then please come back when you're 1-2 weeks away from buying all of the parts of the PC. No point in planning a build this early since recommendations and deals can change quite a bit in a month let alone three months from now.

Also, replace your PSU first before you do any upgrade. I'm surprise that Dynex is still alive. Nonetheless, don't reuse that shitty PSU with any new hardware unless you just gambling with your hardware. A replacement PSU is only $57 anyway:

+1 on Dannys suggestion, expecially on the power supply. A cheap one could take out parts in your system, so its not something to cheap out on.

If you dont plan on putting much on the SSD, I would go for a 128gb at least.

Your motherboard is AM3 so no BD or higher.

Awesome, thanks for the recommendations. I'm not concerned with the limitations on the CPU, I may not even go as hardcore on the video cards either. I'll post up again when I'm closer to building, and will definitely look into a better PSU. I'm a huge fan of Antec's other stuff, and that looks like as good a PSU as any.

All that said, I might start on this a bit sooner. I've got other projects going though, and only really have the mobo because another [H] let it go for an irresistable price (who needs 5 SATA headers anyway :-P)
