Pull out that scanalous X-Fi and replace it with the PPU! I'd have sympathy, but the onboard sound of the Diamond rocks anyways since it's also Creative.

Surely you've read http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=Articles&go=read&arc_id=76 I'll never add a Creative PCI card to my mix, but then again the onboard is working flawlessly for me.

X800XTPE at $999 was something I was giving a back in the day also. The fact of that matter is, even when the prrice leveled off to $499 like it was supposed to, that $499 graphics card was giving on helluva larger improvment than this PhysX card is at $299.
