Photo Realistic Games, When?!?!?

Am I the only person who never, ever wants to see a truly photorealistic person in computer games?

Maybe it comes from watching too much anime, but that generalisation of skin features we currently have (rather than the uber-realistic view, with the odd pimple, hairs, sweat, imperfections, patches of faint offcolour) helps ease me into that state of unreality, rather than thinking "Oh God, more real life to deal with. (sarcasm) Wonderful. (/sarcasm)

I think there is a time and place for each.
 
I do not think I would want a photo realistic game, I sort like the way they look now. Like Crisis and even HL2.
