Gaming (WoW, COD, SC2) and downloading and watching movies

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
about 600 dollars, the less money the better

3) Where do you live?
Buffalo, NY USA

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget?
CPU, MB, RAM, Video Card

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing?
Corsair 620w Power Supply, WD Velociraptor 300gb HD, WD 320gb HD (also have a 2TB external for media) I also have a cheap 25 dollar case from newegg

6) Will you be overclocking?
No

7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
I use a 24 inch acer monitor, and a3M X55i Projector to watch movies

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
This week

9) What features do you need in a motherboard?
mATX, onboard video to watch movies on projector while playing games thru videocard on 24 inch monitor

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?
Yes, Win7 x64

I think I will look into the XFX cards, I do like the idea of the lifetime warranty.

So with RAM, it is not necessary to get ram from the MB's QVL?

No its not.. All the QVL means is that the manufacturer has tested that specific memory in the board. It doesn't mean that other memory wont work. Just stick to name brand stuff & your fine for the most part (exceptions being with odd shit like if you bought 1.7v memory on accident or something like that).
 
Thanks for all the info guys, but I'm ready to order this thing tonite but I have one more question.....

For a pc just for playingt a few games and movie watching, is there any real advantage of getting 8gb of ram or should I stick with 4gb of ram?
