Personal water cooling.

Alternatively, a small swimming pool would accomplish something similar. Except without aluminum.

the price that n00btard quoted is WRONG, it is slightly more if u want a truely personal setup jk, OP, it is definately not uncommon for people to have their own water cooling within their system, spending $100-$200 on a setup can get you a pretty good loop (loop = parts of your wc system). If you want quiter cooling or to OC more, than definately consider WC.

What I'd do...

get some 3/8 bendable copper tube and sew them into nylon belt... Make about 8 of these belts.

1 for the waist, 1 for the chest, 1 for each leg etc...

Have them running through a TEC waterblock somewhere.

3) a bajillion pelts
4) House covered in heatsink
5) Not only will it cool you as you wade in the Fluorinert, it's submersion cooling for your PC too. Until you pee in it, and the underwater blob of pee comes into contact with your PC.

This is for just the shirt. You'll need the rest of the "system" in order to cool it.

Basically the system is just like watercooling anything. Some form of reservoir + some form of pump + some form of heat exhanger to get rid of the heat build up in the system + this shirt (instead of a waterblock, you get a water-shirt).


Several regular systems that the guys use out by us are just everyday Ice Chests + the shirt + a pump. They don't use a radiator, as they fill the chest with Ice and Water and call good for race day. It works, too.

You might be able to make that mobile if you get a battery powered pump and a watertight backpack. Hmm....

or use water cooling to make cheap air conditioning....run some pipes underground and pump water through them. use a fan on a heat exchanger (radiator) to blow cooler air up through duct work.
