Holy cow! You and your wifes cases are awesome James. They are freaking huge!!! lol... That G70 #3 is sweet. I have been away from the board a little while and catching up a few pages. Looks like some cool cases you all have been posting. Some AMD stuff from Dark Captain, cool to see different hardware parts. Hope to see Spartan611's rig sounds like a lot going on there. Right on guy's well I have been so busy with mine since I got it running I have hardly been online. lol.. :D I am now officially running this extreme beast now as I type this post and the performance is unbelievable!!! I'm so glad to have officially retired my old HP. Well I've got a few night time shots of my rig (thank you James & PerfPC!!!), nothing too spectacular but the blue lights look very cool. I'll drop in from time to time and check up on you guy's to see more warez. Take it easy :cool: Bye for now!

Pics of mine with all the lights off in the house, or lights off on the case? Duh, probably just the house, you would WANT the other lights on. I have a couple, but not with both cases on at the same time. I guess I can take some for you tonight. Stay Tuned! ;)

Well I have no games at all. lol... My HP was not a gaming rig and I only bought one game (Formula 1 racing) several years ago. It sucked so I just used the playstation. Now I have a reason to get some PC games for sure. I spent so much money on this thing I have to take a rest on my wallet a little while. lol... The main thing I wanted was getting a new PC up and running and then add stuff in the future. Talk to you later. And James make sure those pictures are not from your cell phone camera. lol... :)

Okay, okay.. I used my other camera for these pics... :( Hard to take pics from the side once they are side by side between the desks. Thinking about sliding my desk more to the right and putting mine on the right side of my desk. I'll have to get back with you on that. I'm gonna shut up and post the two pics I took last night for you!

i'm looking at re-visiting my plans to work on a Lian-Li G50 which is the shorter / stubbier version of your case.

don't know if you have a worklog but are those ccfl's behind the front intake 'grills' along the sides? I assume there's enough space to put a tube back there? or did you string up LED's?
 
Yes, those are 15" cathode tubes. I wanted to do 21 LEDs down each side wired to a box that would be Micro-chip controlled. Allow the lights to all randomly flash or do patterns. But the controller chip I want isn't made any more. A total of 42 LED's for that project. Have an acrylic LED holder made that would be used to drill all of the holes to ensure they were all straight. Just couldn't find another controller for any price reasonable. Maybe somebody could help me out!

I know guys. It's a very trying time in my personal life at the moment... Death in the family, a couple more not far from that, a dead car and in need of new management ( :D ) I do have a few pictures I need to post, just haven't had time.

My prayers are with you also. I am deeply sorry about what happened. I had a grandfather pass away a few years ago. It was the hardest thing I have ever gone through. I know how tough it is to go through a death. Like I said, I am praying for you.

Whats with the cutout in the base of the case..can you explain??
Also is that side window fan "quiet"....what size is it?? :confused:

That is for a VapoChill. Drilled mounting holes for the bottom of the case to mount the Vapo to the case. That side fan is 25cm and is silent.


I would expect the TJ09 by the end of next month. I'll give Silverstone another call this week about it. Keep you guys informed! How about the [H] sighting?
 
So thats what the 250mm fan with a clear window looks like, eh? Interesting. I was wondering how one would look on the Goliath. Pretty much like that? I cant tell but what, if anything, are you doing for a dust catcher on that 25cm fan? This inquiring mind wants to know. :D
 
Hahaha you use a HD magnet to hold your screws too! Damn I thought I was super original! I have like 6 mounted right above my work bench :p.


PS dont you hate aluminum screws that you mistake as steel, and drop them behind something because they dont stick to your magnet :(.

There's not really anything you can do about that. I have been able to filter using dryer sheets with some success on some Aerocool cases. It helps defuse the light from LED fans and makes them "glow" and gives your case that "spring fresh" effect. Using the clear ones and you don't really notice them behind the fan grill.

Yes, that is exactly what the Goliath would look like with a window. That is in fact the same window panel that the Goliath gets. I did two Goliaths this past week with solid panels. Both in the same day.

Anyway, case orders were kinda stagnant last week; I apologize for the slow goings. Everything will pick back up this coming week. Both shipping guys were out Wednesday for some concert, I was out Thursday for a funeral and our stock guy was out Thursday and Friday for a wedding. We'll be back in full swing this week. Thank you all for your patience!! :cool:
