Hello,

I know I can fold via a PCIeX1 slot by moving a PCIeX16 card into the X1 slot.
My motherboard has an Intel G31 chipset (I'm looking at somebody's deals:cool:), and before I purchase, I want to be sure I can use a:

X16
X1

at the same time on this chipset? The ASrock (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157146) board has the network adaptor listed under the X1 slot, so.....

Thank you!

Okay, the Intel Spec sheets say no.

I need to run the x16 slot at a lower speed, then the x1 slot for another card, then another x1 (virtual) slot for the network controller!?

from what I remember, atleast 4x is needed for folding
