PCI FAN Question

in my qpack between my x-fi sound card and the pci express slot therse an empty pci slot..and was wondering if it will do any good to put a pci fan in there...somehitng like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835117010....if so should it suck air out or in...since the gpu sucks air into it.....thanks

I always have used Antec SmartCool series fans and they are very effective and quiet. Here's a 120mm one on eBay.

Check out the 120mm and 80mm's for the case you have. Those are the fans I am going to get to replace the case fans in the X-Qpack2 when I get mine here in a week or so. Only thing is they are kinda pricey, but I'm sure you could find them cheaper if you do some searching around on the www. They make PSU's and HSU's as well. I am likely going to get one of their HSF's too, the 120mm version there.

A couple of fan "shoot outs" from Silent PC Review. Do a pretty good job of reviewing a selection of 120mm fans; a lot easier to decide on something that has a good dBA to CFM ratio for your rig. They have a comparison for 80mm and 92mm fans as well.

I was just going to like those myself. Great resource for finding quiet fans.
