I was just sitting here and a thought came to mind. What if PCI-E is going to have the faith of being the midrange to lowend card bus for awhile? Well what put this together was the fact that ATI is bringing X600 and X400 to PCI-E and Nvidia is bring something to PCI-E but there highend is already on the AGP port. what do you think.

PCI-E has far more bandwidht than AGP, and is bidirectional, so we will have high end PCI-E cards.

The reason no high end cards are currently available for it, is that there arn't many MB's available yet, so not many buyers yet... if you are going to have inventory sitting around unsold, do you use ones you have excess parts of, or ones that if they were AGP could sell?

Every AGP high end card they make now will sell, so why make PCI-E ones that can't sell till there are PCI-E MBs?

good point. I just figured that well AGP is selling good and PCI-E is just a newborn they really won't risk bring out a high end card for "PCI-E until it develop some more. But then again they might.
