Hi I built a new cpu.

Posting: it takes a few seconds before it posts and hangs. Booting into windows takes longer than expected. Once Windows boots, it seems the entire OS is locked up by the time i get into windows then it eventually loads. If I open firefox it hangs until everything loads. Sometimes when I click a window title bar to move it the pc freezes for a second. Any advise? I have flashed to latest bios.

GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3

Trying to follow this thread http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=7688
is getting me nowhere.
My mobo manual is here:

HIt up the stickied "Basic Troubleshooting Guide" and start from there.

Also full specs of the PC would help.

Sounds like a possible RAM error or driver issues.

BTW, was it hard to build a cpu? :D AMD or Intel might want to hire you. ;)
