Since december my zalman reserator v2 has done a nice job of cooling my i7@4.1GHz. Now the ambient temp is climbing and I'm relying on the rear fan on my tower more and more to keep cpu temp below 81 celcius under heavy load, by blowing cool air across the radiator. Speeding the fan up increases the noise, which defeats the object of a passive cooling setup. So I need to upgrade.
First option is to put a second reserator in the loop: pro's ease, con's price.
Second option is to just put another radiator in the loop. I could use some names of aluminium radiators to read up on as I'm having trouble finding any. Also I am concerned about whether the pump will handle another radiator, I could use feedback on whether it will or won't: pro's price, con's hassle, especially if I have to change the pump.
