Can I use Partition Magic on a current 200gb partition and split it to 2x 100gb's without having to reformat/lose data? it doesn't have windows on it or anything, a backup drive... but I do like being a neat-organized freak. I got like 3x drives into 7x partitions :) It's a Western Digital SATAII if that matters at all.
 
Yes, partition magic will do this. If the data is important, however, I would suggest backing it up before attempting this. There's a reason many of us call it "Partition Tragic".
 
I decided to go for itno point in living if you don't take any chances yes/no? At first it wasnt showing the extra partition! Restarted and all's good. Haven't tested to see if all the games still work, but I'm sure they do.

I was gonna have a 120gb HDD reserved just for vids/movies. But it died on me! so I had to partition a spare 100gb I wasn't using for videos :)
