I've got a P5N-E SLI (rest of specs listed in sig) and I have the sneaking suspicion its killing my RAM.
About 6 months ago I had a problem where I would start my computer and it wouldn't POST. After about 5 mins of sitting there though (powered on), I could reset it and it would work just fine. I took the computer over to my friends house trid his RAM and it booted fine. I RMA'd my RAM and I put the new ones in and they have been working fine. That is, until a week ago, when it started happening again.
A little before this, (about a week ago) my computer gave me the 1-long beep code, and I pulled out a stick of RAM and it worked just fine. Did not matter which of the 4 sticks I pulled out, it would boot with any combination, in any DIMMs.
Last night, I got a BSOD for IRQL Not greater or less, I think. I'm not certain if this is related to me just installing a 8800GT that day or not.
Mostly, I am concerned that my mobo is killing my RAM. The voltage is set at 2.07 (doesn't have regular voltage numbers for some reason). Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.
