Overlocking Memory over Cpu

Hey I was just curious about something. Would I noticed better performance if I were to try to set my E6600 back to stock settings and overclock my memory to get a 1:1 ratio?

I have a 7900gs video card which I seems like it would be negating any Cpu overclock I do anyhow.

CPU MHz are much much much more powerfull than Memory MHZ, for C2D systems get the cpu as fast as you can, then see what you can do with memory. Dont go the other way, you lose.

Do not understand what you are diving at there. Making the CPU go faster for free is a major help to anything the computer runs games included. BTW have you looked at OCing your video card ? Might be a few extra MHz hiding in there you can unleash !.
