While I´m confident in my 850 watt PSU handling my initial power needs, which are covering:

CPU: i7 920 OCed@3.6ghz (hopefully)
RAM: 6gb 1600mhz
GPU:1 GTX 260
HDD: 2x150gb in Raid 0
Cooling: Thermaltake 760 is
CaseFans:3x230mm fans & 4x120mm fans

My upgrade I´m planning for August has me thinking I may need to buy a 1200w PSU. I´m doubling the ram to 12gb 1600, adding a second GTX 260 for SLI, & last but certainly not least adding 4x1.5 terabyte drives. Can a 850w handle these upgrades or do I need to figure in another $300 for August.

If you have a decent power supply (you failed to mention brand/model), you'll be fine even with the second video card and extra drives.

Oops! Its one of the Corsair 850TX PSUs Newegg has been pushing on their site in recent weeks.

That's a high quality power supply, so you don't need to spend more money.

Thanks so much for the input, Blue Fox. I think I can get some sleep now. Thanks again.
