My Abit IP35-Pro comes with two CPU throttling functions:
I believe my Q6600 supports both of these functions, but I could be wrong...
My question is, is it wise to turn off these functions when you are overclocking to get the best performance (so long as temps + voltages remain in range) or should you leave them on?
The reason I ask is because I am running Ubuntu 7.10 64-bit on this rig and even when it's under LOAD it sometimes throttles down from 3330mhz to 2220mhz; See Here

- C1E (Enhanced Halt State)
- EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology)
