Overclocking the Budget AMD Ryzen Raven Ridge 2200G APU

Cheapest OC might just be overvolting the stock fan.
$2.50 step-up converter lower price than any heatsink.

Some other AMD fan, but at 18.8V lifts it own weight
shortly before he killed it somewhere around 20V...

12V fans usually have enough margin to handle a
car battery charging at 14.4V. Beyond that???

Just remember that to test fly a PWM fan without
motherboard, the PWM signal needs to be pulled
up to 5V by a 10K resistor. Never pull PWM up to
12V fan power, certainly not to any sort of overvolt.

FYI, it looks like GPU-Z has a new version (v2.8.0) out that fixes the issues with Raven Ridge:

  • Fixed crashes and other issues on AMD Ryzen Raven Ridge APU
