Overclocking Clawhammer 3500

Hey i just got this new system and ive never done overclocking but wanna try it out since i have this CPU at only 2.2ghz and i have Patriot XBLK pc3200 ram which ive read is supposedly awesome.

my memory is running at 2-2-2-5 1t 2.7v and ive tryed loosening the timigs and raising the FSB to 220 and 240 but i have no success at all, ive crashed the computers many times, i just wanna know how far can i go with this system at stock cooling, well, i have the thermaltake silent boost k7 fan and 3 big case fans and the fan of the PSU.

Just how far can i got and how to do it cause ive read of increasing cpu and memoery voltaje but this is my first time and i keep getting it wrong.

Maybe you made the same mistake I did my first time. I figured "Hey, my gear is badass, the FSB should be able to hit xxx"...so I just made a big jump, and it crashed. Then I stepped it up in increments of 1 or 2 at a time, until I exceeded my original expectations.

Don't do big FSB jumps.
