Hi, This is my first time Oc'ing my cpu, and I did the reading on the post about to how OC duos and quads. Before I start, Ill tell you what Im working with.

e6750 2.6 PC6400 DDR2 800 GSkill ram

Now, Im running at 3.3 with 1.370 vcore on the proc and 2.0 vcore on the RAM.

The specs of the ram say 1.8 - 2.0 for the recommeneded voltage. Now, my question is, is there anyone who has the same RAM and pushed the voltage higher than 2.0? Im a pussy and don't want to push it any higher than 2.0 unless I can get a confirmation that i can run it higher. Thanks
 
I had a set of DDR2 G.SKILL RAM, (ones with the blue HS) ran them at 2.1-2.2v, most modern day DDR2 RAM is good to that range.
 
Keep em at 1.9V, Thats actually the same exact ram my buddie got for his budget rig, i helped him get it to 855 at 5-5-5-15. Thats a 427 clock, Try it out, ill head over to his house later down the week and overclock and give you some clocks to try out.

A very simple thing to do is just downclock your cpu by using a low multi and testing out your ram by either memtest or prime blend, lowering the cpu multi takes the cpu away from the table so you can test what max clocks you can get out of your ram. If the ram is rated 1.8-2.0v, 2.0v should be safe, but for most clocks 1.9v should work.
 
thanks. yea, I cant seem to get 3.37 to post. I tried it, and I get BSOD after the vista loading bar is finished. I don't know if its the ram vcore or the cpu vcore, but at one time, I was running the cpu vcore at 1.48 and the ram at 2.0 and It didnt want to post. I lowered the cpu to 3.3 and vcore to 1.37 and kept the ram the same and its good.
 
I have a ABIT iP35-e and a asus silent square, both are considered good for overclocking, especially the silent square.
