Hi, my friend is getting a 920 and an Intel motherboard and wants me to overclock it, I'm just wondering how much different is it than doing it on a eVGA board (which I'm familiar with) ?

Is it hard to overclock on an intel motherboard? Thanks.

Depends on the bios, If he/you can adjust BCLK you should be able to get a decent OC but to really push it you will need voltage adjustments in the bios as well. So its all about what tools/settings you will have in the bios. Intel has recently (in the past OCing an Intel board was almost impossible) started allowing bios adjustments so OCing is possible. You will use the same procedure/method as any other i7 board as long as the settings allow you to modify them.
