Good job, Toasty! I don't know what happened, but in the last day only 3 users have outproduced you in all of foldingdom! With just a few more points you would have broken into the top 50 in the teams ranking. Keep up the good work!

you mean top 15? it looks like he's going to get 2nd on the team with that production...it'll just take a while;)

this might explain it:
Active processors
(within 50 days) 192
Active processors
(within 7 days) 177

i need something else to borg... i'm only at 1.1kppd.

of course, that leaves just 25 people who outproduce me...

whee:p

With an increase like THIS!! We'll ALL want to know where he got all that folding power!!!

He'll be 3rd on the team by this time next year!!

Keep on Folding!!

Haha, I thought you were refering to a fire of some sort. One of my folding boxes caught fire this morning about 3:20am. An Antec PSU caught fire, luckily it didn't take anything else with it and the machine is back up and folding.

 Never good

my friend's house experienced a nice power surge the other night.... knocked out her PSU, TV, answering machine, DVD/VCR combo and a couple other things..... lovely trailer wiring.....

Keep on Folding!!

No, I meant that as a single producer, he would have been in the top 50 teams in daily production. You'd have to do about 70K pts/day to break into the top 15 teams category. :)

Damn, now we could really use MidnightFreak back. Just think of our production then. The Aussies wouldn't stand a chance then.

Although you do have to admit that we are doing rather well considering it seems we have made up the slack from the large loss of production and added some more. Hopefully it keeps on going.

Well, lets see if he can keep it up  It may have been just a huge points dump.

FOLD ON!!!

I hope he can keep it up. And I don't think it was any kind of points dump. It's almost impossible to have something like that with folding. With the old Genome it was easy to do. Plus, the increase is steady and rather consistant. Dumps never worked that way.

Almost impossible ;) It might be possible with those huge ass 600 pointers.

But then again, that would mean he would drop in production for the few days before, so maybe he IS for real

FOLD ON!!!

It will be just for the holidaze....sorry to say.

I will go back to my 25-30 systems after Jan 3rd.

Thanks for noticing though.

why jsut til the 3rd? are they a computer lab or something? why not leave it there (or do you not have permission for that?)

cool, though.

what i would give to be able to borg my school......................

What I would do to borg the 8 floor state office building I work in.

what i'd do to be able to borg every computer on the Guilford College campus! :D that's over 3,000 computers!

i need to get on talking to the guy i know who works with the computers at my HS about borging them. one of my friends works in the computer department - gotta use him (in a friendly, beneficial sense) to get the machines folding. its a bunch of P4 dells. that'd rock.

so far it seems that most of my borgs are still running, but it'll probably be a few days before i'll know for sure (by a significant drop in output) though they may just be crunching big WUs. that's fine too. as long as they're working.

i'm going to ohio in a few days. i'll have to see about borging some family machines.

and i think we'd all like to borg every single school/workplace/home/internet cafe/??? that we've ever been in. it would certainly net a nice increase in production:p

there are a ton of computer labs on campus.. as well as a few hundred comps in my dorm... just the tought of borging all those rigs gives me goose bumps :p

If I was able to do that, I would easily dwarf the production of the [H]orde and the Aussies combined. :D

Then again, it just reminds me of all the wasted CPU cycles out there. :(

i'd like to know what he did and how... it sounds like it would be an amusing story indeed :D

he was using a few labs of computers during the holidays ... duh :p
