OTA HD WTF

I have recently connected my pchd 3000 card on my HTPC backend box to my Winegard squareshooter antenna inside my condo. I've gotten some really puzzling results when I scanned for channels. Here is the dumped service list that the card found:

I'm having some trouble understanding the output. Discovery, TLC, Lifetime, Starz, Disney, Cartoon network??? From an antenna? Stranger still is that these channels are actually tuneable and I can get the tuner FE to lock on them pretty well:

Once the tuner is locked on to this signal, if I bust out mplayer I get crc errors in the stream, or mplayer isn't able to find a stream in them at all. Am I actually pulling an encrypted signal off of my neighbor's cable? Any other ideas? Anybody live in downtown dallas that also is able to see these channels OTA?

I've hear dof some Cable operators pushing an 8VSB signal out over the cable lines, but WTF is right, something is boned.

I'm stumped. I cron'ed up a script to go out every half hour and scan channels, just to see what I find, but this is just weird.
