It sounds like you get some precious seldom down time so I say enjoy that time with your new rig you worked hard for. Not yet. It should ship on the 19th but I might leave to go work offshore. before it gets here. because you have to think It is going to take a week or so to get to me because it is ground shipping. just depends on what my job does. I think i will miss it by a few days if they don't ship it early. I mean it might ship 2 weeks early who knows. I tried to give them a call just now so when i get a update i will give you the update.

I was asking because I ordered a prebuilt from cyberpower with a 5080. Ordered on 2/15, they confirmed order on 2/17, expected ship date of 2/27 (which I didn't believe at all), and here we are on 3/6 and still no shipping information. Not even an updated estimated shipping date.
I just got off the phone and the system is being built now and then it goes for testing for a few days and then it is 4 day for the ground shipping so it looks like i will be home. I will 100% wait for the PC if I find that it has shipped. but yeah to answer your question they are building it now. I think Digital storm is having delay's too. I bet the hold up is the 5080/5090. I have not even seen Micro center posts for any card other then the Asus cards so i bet the other brands can't get the gpu dies needed.
edit: It has to be the gpu and getting the card. That has to be the hold up. stock on these cards is very bad this gen for every one. Them and us.

Well crap. You waited well over 1 month to get yours even in the process of building. And I think the 5090 had more stock than the 5080s. I feel like I'm going to end up waiting quite some time.
Edit: Just got off the phone with cyberpower pc. Gent on the phone told me that shipments have been delayed, which I can understand under the circumstances. He did say they are expecting the next shipment to reach their warehouses sometimes middle to end of next week. In which case they should start building my order soon after. I won't get my hopes up just in case though. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

as soon as i hung up the phone i posted what they said. I know the last week it went up a little so this new price happen in the last few days. They did not say tariffs I am just guessing. But i asked a question about buying a 2nd 5090 from them later on in the year like i did with my 4090 and he said the prices are so over the place he would not quote a price or even ball park it. He said the price is changing week to week.
Sorry my dude my system should ship by Monday if not before. I don't know if they work weekends. You on the other hand. I feel ya. But once you have it you have it for a while so at least there is that.

Yeah, I'm not super worried. Financing it at 0% APR for 6 months which I can easily swing. Cyberpower is also checking the 5000 series cards being put into their systems to avoid missing ROPs, so I won't need to deal with any RMAs for at least that once received.

Little update in the event anyone is interested. Got delivered on Thursday. Didn't get a chance to unpack and lightly test everything until Friday. Redid my set-up and moved desk and other furniture around and have it about 95% set-up now.
I have to admit, the 5000 series is absolutely stunning in person.

Better sure you have someone to pick it up for you then. People steal deliveries all the time and they would probably love to steal a $6,000 computer system and flip it for parts later on Ebay!
So you all know i had to RMA my 13900k now when i ordered my new F-NW system i went with Intel on the itx side because they are better. My build seems to be going slow as fuck so i call them up and ask why and the fucking intel stock cooler is bad and they had to order another one. and the problem is wide spread enough they ordered a bunch because they all seem to be failing. Mother fucker. 2 month wait is going to be even longer and I WAS trying to get this before i go offshore even if for a single day so i could run some quick tests and get some videos of it. Just got off the phone.

I'm really sorry to hear that. While I too haven't ran an AMD CPU since before bulldozer (fuck, I'm getting old), AMD CPUs are definitely the way to go for performance oriented personal builds. I don't mind using Intel at work for business programs, but those CPUs haven't been reported to have degredation as of yet.
I would ask FNW if it's possible for you to respec those parts if possible. You may get lucky like I did contacting Cyber power PC, originally they were lnt offering the 5080FE when I ordered, but it showed up as an option 2 weeks after my order was in. Gave them a call and they obliged the switch, and I was lucky enough that they had it in stock in that very moment, so they sent the order out to the warehouse to start the build.
So, long story short, it doesn't hurt to ask.
Intel CPUs are just awful right now.
The intel boards are far better then the amd ones (itx). But also changing out parts would mean refunding money re buying parts at a higher cost because i got in before all parts went crazy and the part came in today so now it is just i hope days away from shipping. The computer has been sitting on the test bench for more then a week also so the computer is done and wired minus just putting the new fan on it and doing burn in tests.

Seriously, in a 7k build minimum I would expect is an AIO water cooler with RGB. This is 2025 not 2005.
I agree its fucking stupid as shit and hurts the brand. For that price you SHOULD get a aio just to keep the clocks maxed for as long as possible. I know when i do quick test renders in Redshift the less time i am staring at the render box to finish to see a quick change the better. That really pisses me off. I won't order another pre built system from them for this reason and a lot of other reasons but that just adds another check box but i will be able to upgrade the tiki on my own from this point on. but damn man that really pisses me off.

Make sure you have someone picking it up for you. You don't want $6000 of hardware left on the doorstep for 120 days! (It would probably be SNATCHED within 24-48 hours max).

I live in a house, but my stepdad owns a company and takes one of the rooms as his office and the other one to sleep in and he’s retired more or less so he just stays home all day every day so I’m good on that end.

So many OEMs bundling 5090s with 285Ks is pretty funny to me, they must really have a ton of these unsold they are trying to get rid of.

I asked Falcon why they removed the 7950x option from the amd tiki build options and they told me it was to hard to get the aio cables to fit and it was hard to take apart the front panel and put it back on correct if you ever needed to take the panel off. Guys you have been selling it like that for YEARS. Man you people are getting lazy. I swear everything is going to shit these days. Lazy mother fuckers. Its hard so i don't want to do it. I am so glad i will never need to order another Pre built.
Yup i feel this is how they are getting rid of 285ks. Everyone knows Intel is shit for cpus these days, so they had to get rid of excess stock. Feels like how Newegg and other companies are bundling the Nvidia GPUs just to get rid of really expensive PSUs or other unpopular items.
