ordered a 6600GT what should i do next?

ordered that card. I dont plan on overclocking it. I am upgrading from a 9600xt.

Will i need to replace the hs and fan or is the stock good? I already know about driver clenaer and how to get rid of my ati drivers and what not,
I chose this card because of the great reviews its been getting. do any of you have one and how has it been stacking up?

Question...do you have an LCD monitor? Because if you don't you will need to buy the dongle.

not soo fast now. the NV silence wont even come close to working on that card because of the HSI bridge on there. if you want aftermarket cooling, which you probably will since those coolers aint too great (i disected one, loads of white goop (poor thermal conductivity) between the copper plate and the aluminum heatsink, which was very rough.) if your looking for aftermarket, send comsumer9000 a pm about his IceStorms, as its the only cooler for a 6600gt AGP card that will cool the memory and the core at the same time.
 
Yes, if you don't OC the stock is fine. It's fine even for slight OC'ing.
 
i have a 9600xt too and was also thinking of upgrading to a 6600gt... post an update as soon as you get it in and let us know your thoughts on the improvement. i'm still a little reserved on upgrading it, because i want to move to the dfi nf4 sli board.

No. That isn't the only one.... The Jetart cooler can too... :)
 
put it into your computer, download / install latest drivers, download ati tool / overclock a bit since it's a 6600gt, play some damn games! :D
