Optimum Desktop Resolution

I simply cannot use any computer that has a lower res than 1024x768. I think that should be the "minimum" resolution.

I run my iBook at 1024x768 because thats the Max it can have.

I run my PC at 1280x1024 - 9700Pro on a 17' Viewable LCD. It cannot do Higher.

I want to run 1600x1200 with my new computer. Hoping to get a R520 on a 19 or 20 inch LCD.

Really? That's very low. I would have thought it could do at least 12x10.
 
1280x1024 on a dell p1130 21" crt with a x800 pro
i set it there because i`m old and need to see print larger.
i do game at 1600x1200 when i can.
 
i run 1280x1024 @75hz cause it looks better than 1600x1200 @ 60hz on my 17" monitor
