Opteron 148 46.46

i could not help myself, bought two from page = $69.42 includes tax/shipping
 
WARNING about Page Computers!

I tried to order the 175 Opteron, and entered my credit card #, but it wouldn't let me register as a new user.

Literally 10 minutes later, I got an automated call from my CC company saying my card was stolen. I called them up and they explained that a clearing house for some vendor had a bunch of cards stolen.

I rarely use this card, and I don't believe in coincidence - I think Page Computer verified my CC number with Citibank and that got my card added to a list of stolen numbers.

This happen to anyone else with Page?
 
I didn't get that, but I used Citibank's virtual account number system. (Good thing I always use it now)
 
Just tried to access their site and its not letting me...

Anyone know their phone number to get the status?

I should look into that. I don't want to risk my primary card by trying to order again.
 
Yea, I completely forgot about Citi's virtual card. I used it for this order and picked up two.

like poster said above, I'd regret it if I didn't get in on such a kickass deal and it IS a step up on my Opty 144 I have in already...
 
will be surprised if they actually honor any of 'em. Caught me strange that the first paragraph in the terms & conditions deals with them not having to honor posted prices, heh.

My PCC order is listed as open.

just checked status of order and it now shows shipped.
like someone else they charged me tax also. i dont think they are based out of texas either.

Mine is still reporting opened, but that could change in a heartbeat.
 
Yeah, I ordered my 148 last night right when this deal opened up and my order still says "open" too. I hope I get this thing through although I don't really need it. Actually I want my 175 and the 148.

edit- back to the OP....all deals are dead now I believe. :(

nvm on hold, hot-deals.com is reporting its about to be canceled like everyone elses to bad
 
Hot-deals only says the 175's are going to be canceled, nothing about the 148 yet.
 
i called and thye said it was a pricing error then the online guy said they ran out of stock when i ordered..... sounds like they're trying to cover a mistake?

Okay...got off the phone with Gweyn from Page Computers...She originally said the product was back ordered and that's why it was cancelled and then I said that maybe it was mis priced and she went to check and said that must be it since so many Opteron orders were cancelled.

My card had funds put on hold though and they said I should expect a refund to go through in about 5 business days.

Deal dead. =(
