Operation: make this old computer I have play wow...

I am in between buying a new pc since my laptop died. I had given up on this extinct rig until I seem to have wow running "DECENT" on it, and im quite impressed.


You're going to laugh but heres the specs

Athlon 1800xp 1.53 ghz
512 mb pc2100
Radeon 9600 128mb

now i think im going to order another gig of ram...then im going to overclock this proc, but I need to go the OC forums for that. Thanks for an input.

btw the reason for this is that im holding out on a new rig and would like to sustain my uncontrollable addiction. im going through withdrawel.

Wait so you running WOW on that old PC now and it runs fine?

Just get another stick of 512MB RAM and you'll be fine. You'll also save some money that way.

well its decent but its still chugging i guess, nothing THAT bad but its still borderline being a real problem. IM thinking of buying a fan and overclocking also, because honestly I wouldnt care if I broke this.

Well then, overclock that sucker and buy a new stick of 512Mb RAM. Since it's an old system, don't bother getting an additional gig of RAM for it.
