Is there a site that keeps track of what games people are currently playing? I remember gamespy having a site that posted these stats, but I can seem to find it.

I guess Steam.

Maybe GFWL?

Quake Live has stats.

I used to play Enemy Territory alot and there was a site "splatter ladder" that kept track of stats.
So I guess it all depends on the game.

Yah I came across the stats on steam. I'm looking for exactly what steam posts but something that also considers all people playing regardless if they are using steam or not.

X-Fire looked promising but it didn't detect some of my games in Steam. Game-Monitor worked great but it doesn't have BF:Bad Company 2. What do you guys recommend for a server browser? Something with it's own client like X-Fire would be nice.

When was the last time you tried XFire? What games didn't it detect? XFire does issue out updates to games as he get released, well most games anyways.

Once you install a game you need to let XFire re-detect your games again in order for it to see the new one. Sorry I've been using XFire for like 3 years now and the only problems I've ever encountered was with voice chat rooms with my friends. I just love the simple screenshot and video uploading features. Makes it handy for some of us that don't want to manually upload them to a different site.

I also like X-Fire but I can't get it to work with Counter Strike: Source or Half Life 2: Deathmatch. X-Fire detects both games but will not join the server after it launches the game. It complains about "unknown file cl_thirdperson" and "Can't use cheat cvar".

Update: I found this post on X-Fire's forum and it seems to be a common issue. I guess I'll stick with X-Fire for the time being.
