i just realized ive been folding for team 33 for one month exactly today, i started with my ps3, and one uni-processor client, then i got dual smp clients (and a migraine headache) now i run my GPU and one smp client. my wife freaked out when she saw my last months pg&e bill, so i no longer fold on my ps3, since its a major rip-off (pointwise)
i think the ps3 should be getting near gpu PpD..

all in all, i'm just shy of 100K, finished 154 WUs, and team rank is 1,482
kinda fun to watch the rank and all, it really adds to the joy of folding for a cure

 
Try folding with 3 overclocked quads and an 8800GT and then have a look at the power bill.

As well as that, I also have a few WCG machines running although the P3 1Ghz is shut down at the moment just leaving the X2@3.0Ghz and Athlon XP-m@2.4Ghz.

Luckily I have some of the cheapest power on this forum. :D

Try pulling 2.7 kW.h 24/7 to feed the farm ......... :(
But then again I've got the whole farm is above the 40 PpDpW mark, so I am doing +100k PpD ..........:p

But its the small time folders that make the [H]orde [H]ard.

Make sure you have good 80+ PSU in your boxen, they make a difference.

Agreed, a 80+ psu make a big difference and my farm all have 80+ powersupplies in them and the bill is not bad (remember I'm in Quebec with the 0.06$/KWH bliss) :)

according to my bill, I'm charged $0.055 per kWh

sad part is literally half the bill is surcharges/taxes...

 
Well - his main rig I think is an HP. Not sure if a standard ATX supply will fit or not but that is something to consider. Glad to see you humming along nice and smooth now though.

ohh hey mix, you havent been on msn in forever, i finally got dual SMP's to play along nicely, just yesterday,, so it finally bumped me above 6kPpD

GJ! It's on to 250,000 pernts after that! The other thing that will be sweet (it was for me) is when you break into the top 1000. You've got the PPD to do it, because most people don't bother to setup the SMP clients and the GPU clients.

hehe dual smp clients working nicely now, with affinity changer, and the gpu, got my brother borged today, aswell. only 400 ranks away from 1000 :D
and i just finished my WU that will get me my 100k at the 10pm update.. :D

i have a question for anyone that knows.. my brother has a geforce 6600 pci graphics card, can that card handle the gpu? is there any way? id love to get him blazin on a gpu.. :D
