omg, about time Antec

That case is butt ugly. If you want a case with a crap load of fans, then get a cooler master, at least they know what cable management is. The only saving grace for this case is that you can mod the hell out of it.

I dont think he is tolling at all, I think it looks ugly too.

it's cool and the new features are very nice. The antec hundred series isn't known for their looks as much as cooling factor.

YAY, the trolls are out and about this evening!!!

So, not liking something = trolling? I happen to like this case, but people have a right to express their opinions about the case.

The one thing I don't like about it is the top fan. I hate proprietary fans that I cannot easily replace with a more quality fan. Oh, and the cramped/narrow motherboard area. I'd rather have EATX capability and make my case 3 inches longer.

I like it...though at 32lbs its not at the top of my list of large full tower cases.

Its not too bad, except for the fan tumor popping out of the top of it. I dont think id buy one though, most likely expensive and my cm690 pwns hard.

So it's basically a taller 900. Way to go Antec for not actually making a mediocre case any better. Pass.

I'm pretty sure the 690 is a better case than this will ever be, especially when you factor in price-this case will inevitably be expensive. My 690 cost $20.

I <3 my Antec Solo, but that 1200 doesn't look good to me at all.

I guess if you need the expandability you could do worse. :p

It's not beautiful or anything but it's not terribly ugly to me. It looks like a machine.

I like the Antec 900 muuuch more.

I don't know how people can call the 1200 a pos and still like those stacker cases... I think those look ugly imo. Sorry :(

Did any of you actually read the review? It has a ton of new features build in to it such as washable dust filters are cable management. Not to mention water cooling holes for those that would like water cooling.

i thought there was suppose to be another case like this aswell to come out the same time which had watercooling features ? sure i saw it somewhere.

and yes i think its ugly too lol, loving my v1000 still atm

Calling something a POS without providing a reason = trolling, imo. I don't really like the look of the 900/1200 cases but that's a far cry from calling it crap. Antec cases are usually well designed and produced.

How come i get bashed all the time for just posting a thread that some 1 else posted before he posted what i posted just a day or 2 ago about the review here but dosnt get bashed hmmm.

lol, I guess you did beat me to the punch for posting the review. I didn't see your thread when I posted it.

Yeah I don't like it but I also didnt like the antec 900. Not a big fan of the tops they use on those cases nor do I like the side windows design. I still think the P1XX range of cases are antecs best designs, very sleek imho at least externally. I tend to be a lian li fan but generally always recommend friends look at the P180's range simple because price wise they are very reasonable for a pretty damn decent case.

OMG SO INNOVATIVE!!!
they added standard features that have been in cases for a while

doesnt detract from the fact that its ugly and cramped

Looks like quite an improvement over the 900.

Another fan in front, another fan in back. I like how the ports in the front are done compared to the 900. Seems to have lost firewire, though, in exchange for an eSata port. The back and insides look much nicer now that they are painted black. Probably my favorite improvement is the fan and LED control on the back. Shame it can't turn off all the LEDs, though.

there are other cases that meet that criteria without being butt ugly. why would we buy a case we think is incredibly ugly?

Im also jumping on the ugly bandwagon, since Ive never been a fan (get it) of those over sized fans in cases.

that 200mm fan is the best part of the case, and it doesn't look all that bad. this will be quietest case you can still overclock without needing to put a fan on your cpu or your video card.

I just don't know why they went with that elaborate top. Why slant it, with all the triangular PLASTIC zigzags. It's really the plastic that ruins it for me... It just looks and feels cheap compared to a Lian Li.

I've built many systems in the 900 and think that, all-around, it feels like it's on the same level as some raidmax cases!

I like it a lot. I've always loved my Nine, regardless of other's opinions of it. I don't build my PCs to make others happy.

From the review, it appears to me that Antec actually listened to the owners of the Nine Hundred, and made improvements that are seen in the Twelve Hundred. Fan filters, external speed controls, cable management, inside painted black... those are all improvements that myself and many others have or will make to their Nine Hundreds. I personally thank Antec for including those things.

I obviously haven't laid hands on this case yet, but the only thing I can see that I wish would have been included is the ability to turn off the LEDs in the front fans as well.
