OLD ? ssd to larger ssd

I would like to change from 60gb ssd to 840 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Single Unit Version Internal Solid State Drive MZ-7TE250BW I would like keep and have everything as it is on smaller 60gb I want working Clone of that drive you could say
My OS Win 7 home premium 64bit.

Think I have read way to many threads on how do this.
My question: Is this to simple to work?
Make Image of my present ssd and save to another drive. Disconnect take out 60gb ssd and put in new 250gb ssd. Use the boot up CD I made and do Restore Image. OR use Samsung Migration tools.

I would appreciate help with this. at 77 I am not sharpe as I use be and I can not jump though all the hoops that is required with so many of the other ways do this.
Then again Why do it simple if can make it difficult.
 
depending on what you get they may have software available that automates the entire process.
You connect the new drive.
Go to the manufacturers website, download the software
It will copy the two windows partitions to the new drive
Tell your computer to boot from your new drive and you are done
 
Both options are viable. I have used much cruder methods to copy a HDD and surprisingly it did work
 
My 1st ssd was in this computer when I bought it.
jiminator Samsung makes it look just about that simple using Samsung Data Migration Software on video link below I found. Guess I will find out and if it dose why even consider any other brand if they don't enclude software such as this. Still gets down to don't assume

I've used MiniTool Partition Wizard to do it and it works fine. Free too.
