I used to have a member ID with a fair number of posts (I think several hundred), but when I tried logging in with my UID/PW from way back when it said membername not found. I didn't think of asking till just now, but is there any way to get back my old postcount/etc. or is it gone for good? It was under the same name as this ID.
 
I believe that when users are inactive for a looooong period of time, they are simply deleted. Nothing personal, its just how they clean house. I am betting no. But you could ask for a title... :eek:
 
There was an announcement last winter/spring that we were going to purge all of the inactive members that had not posted within three months. You had to have read the announcement and made at least one post to retain your membership. The member list was purged from around 50k to little over 16k. The bottom line is that you have to begin again, but many of the ones you might remember are probably still here and will recognize your username. :)
