I turned a few machines back on (to folding), well 4 actually. After all, they were just idleing anyway. And, a coworker just got diagnosed with Hodgkins Bcell lymphoma and has a 30% chance of survival. Y'all... she is beautiful, 23 and brilliant. She was a warrior for this fine nation and more over, she has a warm and sincere attitude about everything. :(

Her name is Stephanie.

I'm back.

Glad to see you back Red! :D
Sorry to see why. :(

Good luck and best wishes to your friend.

What ever your reason, glad you are back man.

Very sorry to hear about your friend, from time to time it touches us all

Fold on

Let her know that she has 1700 people behind her with their thoughts and prayers. I know how hard of a time this can be, my mother died of cancer.

Let her know we're pulling for her! It's a shame when something horrible happens to someone wonderful

Fold on for the cure fellas!

Welcome home, RedShred.

Not to blow smoke for your friend, but 30% beats the tar out of the "no chance" my mother-in-law got back in February 1998. She barely made Memorial Day before the ignomious end. Brain cancer is a horrible way to die. :(

Fight the good fight, Stephanie! I'll toss another CPU into the folding fires for you...

Sorry to hear about your friend.
I'll keep her in my prayers.

Glad you're back.

We all are feeling for her, the Dragon doesn't care who it gets. I pray that she beats it, It can happen, My friends Kitty and Julie are winners, they had less of a chance than 30%, Julie's was 5% to make it a year, that was seven years ago and though it was a very, very tough year, she is back racing, Doctoring and Living a very busy life. Kitty was at 20% 12 years ago and doing fine now, running her business and If she didn't tell you, you would never suspect that she was ever that sick.

There is hope, even though it seems hopeless.
Fughting on for her is a good moral booster, and she will need all the positive s she can get.

Welcome back, our brother,

Glad to have you back Red. My broken a/c has kept my 2 best dualies offline for a while, but i'll set the 2x244 up for her until until my dog turns into a puddle.

I'm also glad to see you back. I hope your friend pulls through. I know myself and the others here are pulling for her. Just remember, every chance they give is more than nothing and many people have pulled through with less.

It's good to have you back, RedShred. I'll have to add Stephanie to my "reasons to D" list. Our thoughts and prayers are with her.

I forgot why we were here.

Thanks for reminding us Redshred. It is horrible, and it is unforgivable, but some of us forget too quickly, or get too comfortable.

I'm back.

Damn the statistics, damn the heat, and DAMN THE BEAST.
Full speed ahead.

Well, on one hand I'm glad to have you back. On the other, I'm terribly sorry to discover the reason why. I hope that she pulls through.

Yeah, things come along and remind you of why the research is important. A guy that used to work with my dad was recently given less than 3 months to live because of cancer, and I just heard yesterday. He's 53, and hasn't taken care of himself at all(ie. smoking, obese), but it always hits home when it's someone that you know.

I'll setup a few more cpus for all those people out there, and hopefully it improves peoples odds in the near future.

Great pic! Think anymore will start growing this late in the season?

Depends on how much mojo and water RedShred uses.
