We use some Extech calibrated gear at work so I was happy to pick this up, cheap. I tested it against a calibrated thermometer with thermocouple and it was almost dead on reading water temperature. I use it all the time.

I bought the $25 gift card for $5 credit to account.
Also purchased the $55 + tax 250GB MX500. Somebody will enjoy it.
The 2TB is a great price @ $319+tax but I don't feel like spending that much.
Probably will be rare when 2TB ssd's are under $300 or 1TB for under $180.

The 2 TB Micron 1100 SSD goes on sale for around $250 regularly and someone said they found it as low as $230 on one sale. I bought one to house my Steam games and it works fine; I think I paid $247.

Good to know. I'm used to 1TB HDD's.
Update: I bought 2 of the 250GB MX500's at $50 & $55 for relatives, and the 1TB for $165 since it's almost exactly 1/2 the price of the 2TB sale price.
I don't need more than 1TB right now to spend an extra $85+.

Damn. I was getting a RX 580 for second rig. For 280 out the door. But found out Amazon was doing amex 20% off. Got the gtx 1080 399.99+ tax out the door. On top I had 120 dollar gift card. Paid 313 to Amazon for a 1080. That was just too dope for the price.

Thank you for the heads up on the Amex 20% and I used a $5 gift card; made a "last minute" purchase of a Fire 10 HD w/o Special Offers to about $83 (with tax).

Congrats. Yeah last time they had 20% off with amex. I got the same thing as well lol. Mine was around 79.99 out the door. It was hard to beat as a general purpose tablet. This time gtx 1080 was hard to beat at that price for me lol.

LoL I think you can use it only once or max of $100 discount. Cuz I tried to do it again but never saw the same offer kick in. But I did but the 2tb wd PS4 external hard drive for 58 bucks. Had been eyeing that as well.

Prime day is all well and good but you can watch prices flux all the time. I have a wish list and found a ODBA II code reader for my car was $63 Monday, after the sales ended and everything, its $50 today. You just have to play the game with Amazon. There are a few things that are good but for the most part the deals show up secretly from day today on stuff you want.
