um..is this call cheating on 3dmark 06?
1280x768..

no wonder how can a 7950gt can hit 6600!

I think PCX got tired of updating the thread.... :rolleyes:
Yeah, that must be it and not the fact that there are only 20 new non-bogus/not requiring mind reading/somewhat complete scores posted in the last 3.5 months. :rolleyes: News alert: the thread is pretty much dead.

It doesn't take much work to update the list but I'm not going to do anything when almost no scores are being entered. What has been entered hasn't been very interesting anyways. There's one X1950 CF post and no G80s.

Anyways, here's an update. Summary:

Dude WTF are you talking about it clearly shows in my picture that it's running 1280x1024 which is default.. How is that cheating?

It's not cheating to run at 1280x768, but it's not a standarrd run either. Look under settings and resolution in your picture. It clearly shows the benchmark was run at 1280x768 and not the standard 1280x1024.

BTW, I didn't add it to the list because it's not comparable to the rest of the scores run at the standard resolution.

I thought that it was 1280x1024.. Well turns out my monitor doesnt have any resolution higher than 1366x768 so I ran the test with it at 1280x768 and then used a converstion to determine my score. Overclocked 7950GT to 650 / 750

G80s look like they're rolling in now, going to be tough to compete with them...

I should have a crossfire x1950xtx score in the next week or two, it'll be with dual 5160s, if my clovertowns come in, I'll pop them in and give it run. Besides, it's good to see a SLId 4500 system on the charts ;)

Cent, nice run. Got me by 300 points. I was able to get the C2D to 4.0 GHz, but not stable enough to run all the way through. But, 3.9 was decent for air. You will be a tough man to catch, that's for sure ;)

Its a long way since our 100K AM3 days:)

Yep, figured something like that was pending. :D

Looks like you figured out the power issue.

Well even though I never realied on 3d Mark, Jus,t for fun here is the score from my Quad SLI system. I see that 3D Mark stinks as it does not use SLi at all, if it did my score would be much highe, in FEAR I get cosistently 64fps min, 106fps average, and 334fps max.

You need to add more Mhz to your cpu...to even out your good vid. card.

I know if I did that it would help out(just updated sig as my cpu is at 3.4Ghz), I am just not too comfortable pushing my new Conroe too hard and kill it, but I may try that and see how much my scores improve.

Here's an old run when I my X1900 CF Setup that I never published since this list was not been updated.

3dmark Score 13468
SM 2.0 Score 5244
SM 3.0 Score 6720

Well, I cranked up my cpu to 3.62Ghz and my score improved a little, but I see why so many people don't even use 3dmark, I am just sticking to playing my games and using that as my scoring benchmark for my pc.

3d Mark Score @ 3.62Ghz

Update: I uninstaled the 93.71 drivers and installed the 91.47 drivers and my score went to 9815, I guess I am sticking to 91.47 drivers for now. :D

3dmark06 = 6067
CPU score = 2454
CPU temps = 29/30 idle, 48 under load

This OC was after I got a Thermaltake 775D fan and Zalman 92mm on a brack hovering over the center of the case (half on cpu heatsink, half on RAM). I'll be getting an 80mm to sit on the lower half of the bracket to cool the video card/lower half of the mobo.

@centvalny

Are those volt numbers right? (top right) If so there's some crazy volt you are feeding that motherboard, and 1.7v for the CPU:eek:

Very nice overclock on that CPU, respect.:)
