PC used for Firefox, Skype, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, basic desktop useage.

Have some random ddr3 lying around to use...and will use onboard video.

Thoughts?

Resize the pic, link a thumbnail, or pay for our eye surgeries for looking at that.

And "thoughts" without trying to blind myself would be: Dell outlet for these uber basic computers.

Yeah for this kind of usage, you're better off with a prebuilt PC. Yes that SSD is a nice touch but from a best bang for the buck value, you're looking at a prebuilt.

With that said, my thoughts on that build is:
- Ditch the Corsair SSD and go for the Crucial C300 64GB SSDs since they are significantly faster in real world situations

- At $130, that CPU is overpriced considering that you can get the faster and quad core Phenom II 955 CPU for $10 more. So if you want best bang for the buck value, you're looking at AMD. The AMD Athlon II X2 250 CPU is more than enough for those usages. Find a mobo using the 880G chipset.

- At $40 shipped, that case is over priced. I recommend this case:
$50 - Cooler Master Elite 430 RC-430-KWN1 ATX Case
