OCing a flashed VC

I bought an Albatron GF FX 5900 QV aka 5900 Turbo w/256MB of RAM. I flashed it up to the 5950 and it runs great..... at stock speeds only. ANY attempt to OC it only gives me a royal pain in my ass. I've tried upping the AGP voltage to no avail. The major thing I found weird was that after I flashed it, the Nvidia HW monitor said it was running 10C cooler than when it was the straight 5900. Still running the stock HSF for now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the BIOS LOWER voltage by some weird chance?? That would explain the lower temperatures and refusal to OC.

Not anywhere I can find. Everything still claims it's getting 1.6V, I think..... Don't have it sitting in front of me right this second. I've even tried taking the AGP voltage up and it didn't help matters any. And supposedly, the power requirements for the 5900 and 5950 are the same.
