We need...Midnight Freak

i think you're right
our many increases of small contributors has helped to generate enough points to take the lead..but when something as massive as SCEGGS strikes..it's like adding another team to OCAU

we need to fight fire with fire! Midnight Freak, come back!

I think we need to use these!

That would be cool, but I would imagine there are tons of copyright issues and such.

lol wow, those are awesome posters; and much needed to raise our slightly-sagging morale!

sir yes sir, b0rging ahead at full speed! :D

Hey, at least we can pick on him about talking about us! :D

yeah, we definately need to pester Steve for more front-page pimpage!

i'm kinda scared guys, but i know we'll do it! though the going may be hard, we're [H]arder!

this could get VERY interesting. all those with impending purchases of equipment for folding, click "buy" now!

yeah, sceggs used to be a HUGE producer. 200k seems a bit much but it was definetly up there. we just need to throw in all we have, i might even mail my farm away to fold since i cant pay for it

I don't think it is fair to characterize our morale as 'slightly-sagging'. We have done a hell of a job to get back in first place, the team is motivated, they are borging, we have had 115 new folders in the past 7 days.

It is completely out of our control that the 2nd best team to fold for has brought in a heavy-hitter. Good for them!

The [H]orde will succeed!

Eh, no sagging morale, I just don't think anyone was wanting to see this so soon after we got back on top.

On the science end of the stick though, good show for Sceggs, as he can probably do in a week what it takes many of us months and months to do. Thats a whole lot of science for the cause.

I dont know what you guys are worried about, Logikality and FLECOM are going great guns for your team and are producing a shit load of points. Sceggs might just come close to Logikality's output but thats about it. Sceggs is just one of the 1400 Folders that Fold for our team, you are not being conquered by one Folder, you are not being conquered at all.

How about we all get a folding version of Enzyte for our computer. :D
But seriously, when I get back to my family, I will go on a borging rampage, dont you worry about that. I am also trying to get my dorm system into the folding, but we might have power problems, but that could potentially bring us a few hundred.

Which dorm? Round that place that could be potentially huge, until of course half the city goes dark! :p

that's the problem. The dorms have had power outages twice this semester so I am not confident of rounding up the whole hall.

But even 15 to 20% of all the dorm room residents fold, that would be 1500-2000 people.

Yeah, I know when I spent my weekends there about 6 years ago, that the wiring there wasn't all that great. It was just antiquated. I'm not sure if they've done any major upgrading since then, but it was frightening to say the least. I could never understand why the dorms had so few power points. It wasn't uncommon to see power strips daisy chained together.

I pay for my own electricity, but anyone with machines that can fold that they can't afford can contact me via PM or in forum, I'll be glad to set them up and fold under your name I live in a 3 bedroom trailer by myself, so I have two rooms free to devote to folding if need be.

I don't know what you're all so worried about. He *might* match FLECOM/Logic once he ramps up entirely. We're not getting spanked by anyone. We're being caught up to, though.

My folding production will come back in a few days. Only needed about a week to double my UD score :D

Hey cool, I never noticed you're a Boilermaker. I'm a one myself, I got paroled in '96. Was just up in Lafayette a couple weeks ago visiting but didn't get to go over to the campus. Been a few years since I've seen it and it had changed a bunch since I was there.

On topic, I don't think we need to worry that much about Sceggs yet, as long as we're still outproducing them it's good. We shouldn't stop borging/recruiting though just in case, that's the great thing about the competition it keeps us on our toes.

Steady...steady...hold the course. Steve will be bringing us new members every day.

Hey Kyle,
How about another mention in your monthly CPU column? Your column in July 2002 is what brought me to folding. I started with the two machines that I owned then. Just a thought :)

Ciao for now .....
