OC recovery feature being tripped

Hey guys, rig in question is in my sig, I had my 920 @ 4.2GHz over the winter, started having BSODs as summer approached, decided to run @ stock settings, and even still, my motherboards oc recovery feature is being tripped. I have cleared the cmos various times, BIOS at stock settings and every once and awhile when I do a cold boot, I get the warning. Is the mobo fubar'd or is it a setting?

A lot of times when they reset like that they set voltages back to default and God knows what to the memory mulitplier. Have you checked memory voltage is still at 2.1V and the memory mulitplier makes sense ?

My Gigabyteme loves to set memory mulitpler back to auto and select a speed/mulitplier just a bit too high .

1.65 for ddr3.
