IMO It's beautiful. I think this is my next case, especially at under £100 but waiting for a couple of reviews.

this looks like a great case. Look at all the room it has behind the motherboard tray, looks like it might be more then the 700d-800d, might ;)
 
Glad to see case manufactures moving in this direction.

I can't stand all the flashy, cheap, exteriors that are all too common. I'd rather have a more refined, understated design.
 
There really is a crap load of room behind the MB tray for wiring. I personally dont see how this could not be the norm for cases. its not like it is a difficult thing to incorporate into all PC cases..
 
Love it! But when are case mfgs going to start using actual USB3.0 motherboard headers instead of routing a USB cable to external I/O? Or, I guess I should say, when will that be the norm?

I suppose it wouldn't be that hard to DIY to be honest if you really want it :)
 
Oh yeah? I have an MSI 870A-G54 motherboard that is USB3.0 capable. It has a dedicated USB3.0 ports on the back. If I did DIY it, would I be able to use the headers on the mother board and still get USB3.0?

Well in theory If your motherboard has USB 3.0 headers (Which is rare!) then you could purchase a USB 3.0 motherboard connector and create your own USB3.0 cable to the USB3.0 jack in the front of the case. All depends on how you are with making up your own cables really :)

I do agree with you though, it should just be a standard now but maybe Intel holding it back may have something to do with it? I don't know.

There's a reason most cases are around 9" wide. When you put more room behind the motherboard tray, you sacrifice room for tall heatsinks. Or, you make the entire case wider. Problem is, once you get bigger than about 9", you start sacrificing container room in shipments, making your shipping costs go up.

So the question is, which would you rather have? Room behind the motherboard tray? Room for a taller heatsink? Or both, and a higher price?

The Hush 2 looks very nice. If an NZXT rep is reading this, I like the corner on the front that was beveled out. Very neat touch.
 
HWC had a review of this case not to long ago.

Pretty interesting case, certainly looks great. I really like the concept for the front fans being "wireless".
 
The aluminum version looks great. Would also have to wait for a review though.

I feel HWC are asking way too much of this case, for it's price it seems outstanding, but they mention their disappointment in the lack of hotswap bays... and say they think they've concentrated too much on value... Certainly doesn't to me, even after seeing that review :confused: . Apart from that the rest of the review praised the hell out of it.
Roll on some other reviews please.

@Rossi~ - yeah, that's the reason why I didn't link it myself.

HWC has a tendency to sometimes go out of their way just to harp on small little issues, especially when they can find nothing else at fault. The review overall is very positive and that's what should be taken away from it. Personally for a sub $100 case I think this is superb, especially considering it brings a few new things to the table.

The only personal problem I see with it is if someone were to try SLI/Crossfire with some of the larger cards in addition to putting the optional 120mm fan on the bottom. Things get cramped, fast, and it looks like you'd end up with an effective two 3.5" slots at best. Then again, I don't think someone would purchase this case with the intent of a multi-gpu config so it's a small issue.

I'm looking to purchase this for it's look, the front "wireless" fan solution, for a quiet and clean PC.

Ever since I saw TPU's review of this case I find my interest increasing day by day. The white looks amazing and I'm sort of looking to replace my A05N since my relationship with it has been pretty turbulent. Pretty surprised NZXT created a nice looking case that appears to have some great features for only $100. Pretty amazing deal if you ask me...perhaps it's time to jump ship! The only thing I'm worried about though, only being $100 and all, is build quality. Hmm.

The build quality i thought would be a worry but every time i look at a review or go over the pictures again i think it shows the build quality is actually rather excellent.

As for the drive cage, it looks as though it's riveted on at the back and hooked in place, annoying but still removable i would say.

Overall, I'm happy with the H2. I think it would make for nice workstation PC, or even a quiet file sever off in the corner. There is enough room in the case that even an enthusiast looking for a classy looking home for their system would be happy as well. There isn't much room internally for water cooling, but there are tubing pass through holes that will allow for an externally mounted solution.

NZXT says that the H2 will be available early April and carry an MSRP of $99.99, but when places like Newegg get a hold of it the H2 could come in lower, which will make it even more attractive. NZXT also told us that the H2 will carry a 2 year warranty and will also be available in white.

Legit Bottom Line: The H2 from NZXT is a very nice solidly built case that is also very quiet. It carries an MSRP of $99.99 and a 2 year warranty. If you're in the market for a classy looking case with some nice features and a reasonable asking price, look at the H2.

Nope, no window. Really doesn't bother me, at the moment i have an Antec900 with the window panel replaced with a window-less panel, really don't need/want to see in my PC.

That said, if you want a window and that's you're thing, then it's a pretty simple mod and there are loads of window kits out there.
 
I really like the white one; I've been wanting to do something with a white case for some time now.
 
I got a few identical fans with a NZXT case (120mm and 140mms) and 1 of them was louder than 3 GTs. The second 120mm was fine, but the 140mm was kind of noisy. Might be better now however, if you want quiet they might need replacing.
 
Nope, I share the same sentiments. I hate NZXT fans; had two 120s and a 140 and while one 120 sounded respectable, the other two fans were very annoying as their motors emitted a roaring noise anytime I would crank them up. Got some silky smooth GTs and haven't look back.
 
I've got the case, and I can assure you, the fans on the H2 are very nice. Even when running at full speed, they are barely noticeable. They've definitely made huge strides lately in sourcing quality fans.

Thanks for your input Craig, always welcome in my presence :) Also i hope you have some crazy mod for it? maybe wrap it in masses of kevlar and stick it liquid nitrogen? lol.

I'm getting this case in the next month or so, but i am going to install 4x120mm Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 fans and fit a 140mm silent eagle 800 in the top. Mainly because the 2 places where i'm likely to get the case from do not sell NZXT fans and i'd like them to match. Also the Sharkoon Silent Eagle fans are very very good, silent, move a lot of air and pre-braided white cables.

Haha, no problem. This is one of the first cases I might actually leave stock. We really tried to hit a lot of feature points without raising the cost. (For those that don't know, I am part of a special NZXT focus group that offers design input and ideas). By doing that, I think we made the ideal silent case. Comparisons to the R3 shouldn't be surprising, since that is one of the competing cases in this feature class. There are really only so many ways you can make a quiet case. The conservative exterior is just part of that equation.

You can't go wrong with the Sharkoons if you're going to swap anyway. That said, I've talked to Johnny quite in the past regarding fans and their quality. I gave him some performance targets, and he's done an outstanding job making things happen on his end. On my last 3 NZXT cases, (the Phantom, Vulcan, and H2), I've not felt the need to swap them out at all.

The R3 is most probably the reason for this case really, and with the little extras, improved fans and price, i think they've given it a run for it's money definitely.

Can't wait to get mine, it's for my "Reborn, Silent Meanie" build.

Hey, can you ask them to increase the slot covers at the back from 7 to 8? It would mean the ability to do 3x SLI/crossfire with most boards (or 2x SLI with a gap), and seems to be becoming standard for most cases. It would only add 2cm/1 inch to the height. They are good cases, especially for what you pay for them, but when you go for 3 cards they aren't viable anymore.
